Privacy Policy
(Updated March 2016)This Privacy Statement describes which personal data is collected through the jobmagnet App or website (collectively referred to as “Software”), which are provided by Jobmagnet Limited (the “Company” or “We” or “Us”). We understand the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of your personal data. We thus make every effort to comply with our obligations under the 1998 Data Protection Act.

As part of the Services we may process information that can identify you such as your name and email address (“personal information”) and other information that does not identify you. We can process personal data if it is necessary for the performance of, or at your request prior to entering, a contract with you. We may also process personal data necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by us, except where such interests are overridden by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms.

Processing of data under or for a contract
In order to provide you with the Services we automatically collect information from your device when you visit our Services. This information could include your IP address, device ID, appointing install ID, operating system ID and type, your language, the operating system used by your device, access times and – if you have consented - your mobile device’s geographic location while our application is actively running.
If you register for the Services you enter into a contract without about the use of the Services. We will then process personal data for the Services as further described in our Terms of Use.

Processing of data for legitimate interests
- 3.1.
Data processed if you use the App
If you’re using our mobile device app, we store or access mobile device IDs (the unique identifier assigned to a device by the manufacturer), or Advertising IDs (for iOS 6 and later) on your device, instead of using cookies, to store your preferences.
Our mobile device app employs mobile analytics and attribution services provided by adjust, GmbH, Saarbrücker Str. 38a, 10405 Berlin, Germany. As part of the Adjust technology following data may be collected: anonymized (hashed) IP address, anonymous identifiers such as the ID for Advertising for iOS (IDFA), Google Advertising ID or similar mobile device IDs, installation and first opening of an app on your mobile device, user interactions within an app (e.g. in-app purchases, registration), information regarding which advertisements the user has seen or clicked on. The collected data is used for mobile analytics and attribution, and thereby allows us to track marketing performance, to match users to our campaigns and to understand how users engage with the our app. Furthermore, it enables us to track the user’sinteractions in their apps in real time in order to see how our users engage over their full lifetime. The collected non-personal data is therefore used in order to analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and to for performance reports. Adjust does not combine the collected non-personal data with any other data that would enable adjust to personally identify the user.
Unlike cookies, device IDs cannot be deleted, but mobile Device IDs can be reset in “Settings” on your device. You can disable the tracking of your device ID as follows:
- In the case of a mobile device of Apple: Open the settings of your mobile device (e.g. iPhone or iPad) and select the menu item “Privacy”. Under “Advertising“ you can turn off the Ad Tracking.
- In the case of Android devices: Open the settings in your App list and tap on the “Ad” button. When the Ad window has opened, you can deactivate the Google Advertising ID.

Data processed if you use the website
If you use our website we will only collect pseudonimized or anonymized statistical information you’re your use of the website.
We use Omniture Site Catalyst, a service provided by Adobe Systems Software Ireland Limited Inc. (“Omniture”). The service uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help us analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to servers in Ireland from where the information will be forwarded to servers in the United States in anonymised form. Omniture will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Omniture may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Omniture’s behalf. In no case will your IP address be associated with any other data held by Omniture. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You may opt out to the collection of data by Omniture for the future at any time. Further information about opting out is available at http://www.adobe.com/misc/optout.html.
On our website we also use analytics services provided by adjust GmbH, Saarbrücker Str. 36, 10405 Berlin („Adjust“). Based on anonymized IP- and Mac-addresses Adjust analyzes the effectiveness marketing measures for and the use of the app, e.g in order to identify through which marketing measures users became aware of our app, particularly which link or which banners they clicked before they downloaded the app.
